NaNoWriMo

I'm on the eighth day of the NaNoWriMo event and I'm up to 36,000+ words.   I'm sitting down every day to write and I choose a different place to spend my time.  I have noticed that when I sit outside, I tend to write more.  I wrote over 9,000 words today while I sat in the back yard with the dog.   The fresh air must be working my writing mojo!   I'm working on Lost Soul as my project and it's more than halfway done.  I need to do some editing and tweaking when it's all done but I'm proud of myself with  I've done so far.

On another note, I've had to drop out of signings due to my heart.  I can't fly, so if I can't drive myself to it, I can't go.  As of right now, the only signing on my schedule is Dublin for October of 2016. Crossing my fingers that it all works out!!!

Back to writing while I still feel like doing it.

Missing my Writing Time....

I'm getting back on schedule with my writing finally!   The kids are back in school and I'm enjoying the empty the house and free time.   The husband is working and enjoying his job while I'm beginning a new venture.  

Before I suffered my first miscarriage, I attended Berdan Institute to study Medical Billing and Coding.  I dropped after the miscarriage and it's been nagging me every so often to go back and finish.  Well, I went to go see a school and ended up registering for Medical Billing.   I start November 16th.  Yippee!!!  

What does that mean for writing?   To be honest, I hope nothing.  I plan on continuing writing and I think that this will push me back to writing like I was before.  Right now, it seems to be at a standstill from being home for so long.  I don't feel inspired or motivated.  I try to write but what I'm writing seems to be meh.   Hidden Heart is finished and I'm happy with it now.  I will be putting up for pre-order at the end of the month.   I'm also working on Lost Soul, Book 2 in the Lost series.  It's moving along quickly.  It seems that my registering for school has lit a fire in my motivation department.  

I also have some news coming in November.  Until then, get lost in a good book.

Lots of Catching up!

It's been a long time since I wrote any updates on here. I am busy finishing up Hidden Heart as I update my website and FB Page. I had all the teasers that I currently had for Love Lost and Hidden Heart redone. Special thank you to Stacy Hahn for taking the time to make the teasers for me. Thank you, love!!!

I ran into some issues with Hidden Heart.  The story was going in a direction I didn't like so I scrapped it.  I deleted the whole thing and started fresh.  I felt frustrated and took a bit of a break before trying again after the holidays.  The break seemed to work since it gave me the time to deal with the stress I was dealing with at home.

My husband lost his job in November 2013 and spent all of last year going to school.  Our funds were pretty much non-existent and we struggled though the holidays.  We are lucky to have friends around us that helped us through it and we couldn't be more grateful.

Things are finally looking up and my husband started a new job as an HVAC technician.  He is happy and working and things are looking up.  The stress is gone and I'm catching up on the writing as much as I can.  I will be announcing Hidden Heart release date in March.
